Dogs, like people are living, breathing, thinking, and feeling creatures. They may not have thoughts and emotions as complicated as those of a human being, but their need for exercise and mental stimulation is the same.
It’s not just to keep them busy, but it helps prevent a mountain of possible behavior problems. It channels their mind to something positive instead of destructive!
Boredom
If your Chihuahua is bored, you’ll know it very quickly! If a Chihuahua doesn’t have enough mental stimulation provided by you, they will satisify that need elsewhere. This often means chewing inappropriate items like shoes, cell phones, furniture, throw pillows, etc.
